The scope includes removal of existing metal roofing down to the roof deck and installation of new synthetic slate and metal roofing, snow guards, aluminum gutters, and downspouts at 400 Court Street, Dover. Contract documents are available from Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., 1 Park Avenue, Milford, Delaware 19963, for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 per electronic set.
Sealed bids are submitted either through the Bonfire Portal at https://DFM.bonfirehub.com or in person to 122 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard South, Dover, Delaware 19901. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM on October 22, 2026 at the Haslet Armory. The State will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. The successful bidder must execute a formal contract within twenty calendar days of award and achieve substantial completion within a timeframe specified in the contract documents.
