About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking competitive sealed bids, proposals, or replies for the procurement of a Nokia Network Services Platform upgrade. The solicitation requires bidders to furnish and install new server hardware, operating system, and application software to replace end-of-life and end-of-support servers at two FDOT sites in Sanford and Plantation, Florida. The new servers must be capable of running the Nokia Services Platform (NSP) Release 23.4 in a virtualized environment. The contractor will be responsible for migrating existing data, configuring network interfaces, and implementing a workaround to support backup of certain network elements. Bids are due on November 16, 2023 by 9:00 AM local time, with a public bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. The contract term is anticipated to begin upon execution and be effective for 12 months, with a 5-year hardware maintenance and software subscription plan.

Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation is encouraged but not required. Liquidated damages of $100 per day will be assessed for failure to complete the work by the designated completion date. The contractor will be required to maintain the new NSP servers under FDOT's existing maintenance and software subscription plan with Nokia. No pre-bid conference will be held, and bidders must be registered in the State of Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system. The contract will be awarded to the successful bidder as a lump sum contract, with the successful bidder required to provide a performance bond in the full amount of the bid.
