About this opportunity
The State of New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services, Bureau of Graphic Services, is requesting bids for printing the NH Wildlife Journal Magazine under Bid #GRAPHICS 261160, with bids due July 20, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. EST. Bidders must be located within 60 miles driving distance of Concord, New Hampshire — a geographic eligibility requirement that filters the vendor pool.
The scope comprises six bimonthly issues over a one-year contract period (September/October 2026 through July/August 2027), with 3,500 copies per issue. Each issue contains 24 interior pages plus a 4-page cover in 8.5" × 11" format, saddle-stitched. All printing must be full-color process with a minimum 200 lines per inch halftone screen ruling. Interior stock is white 80 lb. gloss text with 10% or more postconsumer waste content; covers are white 100 lb. text. Addendum 1 (issued July 14, 2026) eliminates subscription card components from the original scope. Bidders must submit highly accurate hard copy contract color proofs fully assembled and trimmed to actual size, with the vendor's proofing system calibrated to match color, contrast, and resolution specifications. Turnaround is 12 working days from receipt of project files to final delivery; bidders must specify working days required for proofing and from approved proof to delivery. Bid prices must remain constant across all six issues and include all delivery costs to both the mailing house and NH Fish & Game Department office at 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, plus authors' alterations as separately quoted. Optional 4-page reprints are available at quoted prices for 1,000 and 2,000 copy quantities. The first issue must be delivered by August 21, 2026. Bidders must demonstrate experience producing high-quality full-color magazines and booklets and provide finished samples. All master materials created during the project become state property and must be returned upon completion. The NH Fish & Game Department retains the discretionary right to cancel and re-bid if quality standards are not maintained or contractor performance is problematic. Direct inquiries to Don Labrie, Purchasing Agent, at Donald.A.Labrie@das.nh.gov or 603-271-3205.
