About this opportunity
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), specifically for East Fork State Park located in Clermont County, is procuring a new Pentair S4HRC1500M6-2 Hydromatic 15hp premium efficiency solids handling pump to replace a failed lift station pump. The specific product requirements include a 208-volt, 3-phase electrical system with a 4" horizontal discharge, operating at 3450 RPM, and featuring a stainless steel lifting bail. The pump must precisely match the specifications of the failed unit, including detailed identification plate requirements. Potential bidders are encouraged to contact Park Maintenance Manager DeWayne Terwilleger for site visits and additional information prior to submitting a bid response, with site visits possible Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm. The procurement has a delivery deadline of August 31, 2025, and bids are due by August 14, 2025. The evaluation criteria will focus on selecting the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, determined by calculating the low lot total through multiplying unit costs by estimated usage.
This procurement opportunity is designated as an MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) set-aside in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 125.081, which implies potential restrictions on bidder eligibility. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the purchase order valid through June 30, 2026. Invoicing must be submitted directly to Financial Shared Services (FSS) with specific documentation requirements, including the Purchase Order number, complete supplier details, itemized services, and shipping information. While no specific budget range is indicated, the procurement is for a single replacement pump at East Fork State Park. Bidders must provide comprehensive documentation and comply with state invoicing standards, and failure to bid on all items may result in being deemed non-responsive. The contract includes standard state terms and conditions, which cover various legal and operational requirements for vendors engaging with Ohio state agencies.
