About this opportunity
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is seeking to establish a Multifamily Residential Energy Pathways Participating Contractor Network, which will replace the existing Multifamily Building Solutions Network. This procurement aims to create a roster of qualified firms and organizations that will work directly with developers, building owners, and representatives to plan and implement energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects in multifamily buildings. The network will encompass expanded service categories to ensure comprehensive energy retrofit project coverage across New York State. Contractors will be evaluated based on their ability to meet specific eligibility criteria corresponding to their selected service categories. The solicitation is open to interested firms, with proposals due by December 31, 2029, at 3:00 PM, and the contract term extending through December 31, 2030. Prospective contractors should monitor NYSERDA's website (www.nyserda.ny.gov/funding-opportunities) for any updates or changes to the solicitation.
This procurement does not include specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, with zero percent goals for minority-owned, women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, or other disadvantaged business subcontracting. The opportunity is open to businesses across all New York State counties, with services to be performed statewide. No incumbent vendors or specific integration requirements are mentioned in the solicitation. While the exact award value is not specified, the comprehensive nature of the network suggests potential for significant engagement across multiple multifamily energy efficiency projects. Interested contractors will need to carefully review the specific service categories and eligibility requirements to determine their qualifications for inclusion in the Multifamily Residential Energy Pathways Participating Contractor Network.
