About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is soliciting quotes on Motorola DTR700 radios with batteries, antennas, belt clips, and single unit chargers through a micro purchase, with quotes due October 8, 2026. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, whether as a whole or by line item at the City's discretion. Sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award.
The procurement is being conducted on behalf of the Philadelphia Water Department for departmental communications infrastructure. Quotes must be submitted electronically through the PHLContracts portal. The total contract amount shall not exceed $45,000, adjusted annually by the CPI-U percentage increase from January 1, 2020, and rounded to the nearest $1,000.
The contract term is 365 days from the effective date, automatically terminating without notice thereafter. Delivery and services may not commence until the department issues a purchase order notification. All quoted prices must be net and exclusive of taxes, with delivery on an FOB Destination Point basis, and prices must remain valid for 60 days from submission or throughout the contract term.
An executed Consent and Authorization Agreement (B2728147) must be on file for any quote to be considered. Sellers are required to complete a Seller SOP Checklist confirming seller role designation, entering unit costs for each line item, answering mandatory questions, and accepting terms and conditions through PHLContracts. The optional LGBTQ Applicant Data Form is available for voluntary demographic data collection.
Successful sellers must maintain workers' compensation insurance at statutory limits, general liability insurance with a minimum of $500,000 per occurrence, and automobile liability insurance of $300,000 per occurrence if applicable. Compliance with all applicable laws, nondiscrimination requirements, ethics requirements, and Philadelphia tax obligations — including business income and receipts tax, net profits tax, and city wage tax registration — is mandatory. Awards will be made within 60 days of the submission date.
