About this opportunity
The Northwest Florida Water Management District (the District) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Mitigation Site Management and Support. The District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide contractual services to assist the District in mitigation site management and support. The services include activities such as meeting permit compliance, achieving performance criteria, supporting public access, resource mapping, inventory and management, vegetation restoration, invasive species control, prescribed burning, hydrologic restoration, and other related tasks. The proposal submission deadline is 2:00 P.M. ET on March 28, 2024, and the District intends to award one or more contracts for an initial term of up to five (5) years, with an option to renew for an additional five (5) years. Compensation for the services will be based on negotiated hourly and daily rates as set forth in the Schedule of Costs, without any mark-up for subcontractor fees or other direct expenses. The District reserves the right to negotiate a lower Schedule of Costs after contract award if it is in the best interest of the District. The contract does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or compensation, as task orders will be issued at the District's discretion based on its needs.
The RFP does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The District has not provided any information about incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFP also does not include any information about possible award values or budget ranges.
