About this opportunity
The City of Austin Purchasing Office is seeking quotations for lubricant supplies under IFQ 1100 CPG1075, with quotes due June 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The solicitation initially targets certified HUBs or M/WBE vendors; if adequate quotes are not received, it is then posted publicly to all vendors registered for applicable commodity codes.
The primary product is a 4-drum quantity of Lubricant (Stock No. 9008) manufactured by FMC Corp under part number REOLUBE 46B, with two additional line items available for offerors to propose alternative products. Offerors may reference the City of Austin Approved Manufacturer/Part Number or substitute with their own manufacture/part number for consideration. Estimated quantities are not guaranteed purchases.
Pricing must be submitted on an FOB Destination basis with all handling, shipping charges, and applicable discounts included in the item price. The City of Austin is exempt from Federal Excise Tax and State Sales Tax; tax must not be included in quoted prices. Delivery is available either through vendor delivery or common carrier selection; if shipment is made by common carrier, Workers Compensation, Employee Liability, and Business Automobile Liability Insurance requirements are waived. Payment terms are net 30 days from receipt of properly documented invoices upon satisfactory delivery.
Award will be made to the lowest responsive offer meeting any minimum qualifications. The City reserves the right to compare quotes based on individual line items, categories of line items, aggregate pricing, or other bases most advantageous to the City. Contractors must provide appropriate insurance coverage, comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, certify non-debarment status, meet wage theft certification requirements, and complete the City's Wage Theft Training within 30 days of contract award.
Quotations must be submitted to Christopher Gorski, Purchasing Office representative, at christopher.gorski@austintexas.gov using the provided quote sheet and offer sheet forms. Contact: 512-978-1527.
