About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive Lobby Management Customer Appointment Queueing System through an electronic Request for Quote (eRFP) solicitation numbered 47500-DDS0000114. The procurement aims to establish a contract with a single vendor capable of implementing a sophisticated customer management system across state facilities, with specific technical requirements including kiosk installations, integration with existing Motor Vehicle Network (MVN) monitors, and SMS messaging capabilities. The system must support approximately 2.4 million annual transactions and maintain 99.9% system availability. A virtual Bidders/Offerors' Conference was held on November 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., and the proposal submission deadline is December 20, 2024. Evaluation criteria have been modified, with pricing weighted at 70% of the total scoring, and the award will be made to the highest-scoring and most responsible bidder meeting or exceeding the detailed specifications outlined in the solicitation documents.

While no specific set-aside designations were explicitly mentioned, the solicitation requires vendors to integrate with existing technological infrastructure, including MVN equipment, monitors, power, and data systems. The system must accommodate displays on existing MVN screens and incorporate sound systems through AMP installations in IT closets. Kiosks must include printers at each defined location and be compatible with current monitoring systems. Though precise budget values were not specified, the documents indicate annual hardware maintenance costs of $80,042. Potential bidders must adhere to strict communication protocols, with all questions directed solely to the Issuing Officer, Lisa Gunthorp, and are prohibited from communicating with other state staff during the procurement process. Any violation of these communication restrictions may result in bid rejection or potential suspension/debarment proceedings.
