About this opportunity
The State of Illinois, through the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) in Springfield, is seeking a vendor to conduct a comprehensive on-site inventory of its library's published collection, including books, serials, and pamphlets. The inventory will cover four distinct collections: the Cutter collection (estimated 103,000 items), the Oversized Cutter collection (estimated 3,000 items), the Lincoln collection (estimated 11,000 items), and the Oversized Lincoln collection (estimated 2,000 items). The successful vendor must complete the full inventory by June 30, 2023, and all work must be performed in a secure area with workers completing a background check. Pricing terms require quoted prices to be valid for 90 days from the date of submission and to include any applicable shipping and handling charges. The ALPLM reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or group of items, and waive minor defects, with the contract being awarded to the lowest priced vendor that meets the minimum requirements and specifications.
The contracting opportunity is open to all qualified vendors, and there are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The procurement documents do not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor do they provide information about existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFQ does not disclose a specific award value or budget range for the contract.
