About this opportunity
Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC) Purchasing Office is soliciting a documented quote for the procurement of laboratory equipment consisting of twelve (12) Leica DM750 Model 13613504 microscopes, twelve (12) reticles for eyepieces (Model 13613561), and twelve (12) U.S. power cords (Model 13613900) for the Division of Health and Sciences at the Rampart Range Campus in Colorado Springs, Colorado. No equivalent makes or models are acceptable due to the instructional value of interchangeable parts and to facilitate training for other programs. All equipment must be new with manufacturer's current model specifications, include original manufacturer's packaging, and be accompanied by a minimum five-year warranty on optical and mechanical components and a minimum one-year warranty on electronics. All pricing must include shipping, handling, and delivery charges to the Rampart Range Campus at 11195 Highway 83, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80921, with FOB Destination terms and no additional charges permitted for packing, drayage, or other purposes. Quotes are due on October 16, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time, submitted to the PPCC Purchasing Office at 5675 S. Academy Blvd., Box C2, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906, either in person in Room B229 or via fax to 719-502-2009, with late bids not being accepted. Pricing must remain firm for ninety (90) days from the due date, and a Purchase Order will be issued to the awarded contractor upon acceptance of terms, with payment made in full within forty-five (45) days after all work has been completed and accepted by PPCC personnel.
A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) preference applies to this procurement, offering a five percent (5%) deduction from the total bid if the bidder holds appropriate U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs certification and meets Colorado residency requirements. All bidders must be registered with the Colorado Operations Resource Engine (CORE) to be considered responsive, and PPCC requires a completed W-9 form on file prior to contract award. PPCC reserves the right to award items to separate vendors or to a single vendor. No incumbent vendors or budget range has been specified in the procurement documents.
