About this opportunity

The State of Maine Division of Purchases is soliciting bids on three Kodak Ngenuity 9125 scanners with associated software, maintenance kits, and support services, with quotes due March 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. local time. The responding vendor must be an authorized Kodak reseller or agent — a sole-source capability gate.

The scope includes three Kodak Ngenuity 9125 scanners (125 pages per minute, 750-page automatic document feeders, USB 2.x connectivity), three VRS 5.x Pro software licenses, three Medium Roller Kits, and three Kodak Ngenuity Care Kits with one-year coverage and four-hour on-site response service. An optional trade-in of three existing Bowe Bell + Howell Spectrum 8100D scanners (serial numbers KVL7180167, KVL7180169, and KV7180098) is available through the Spectrum Trade-in Program; vendors may quote any available discount for the trade-in option.

All shipping fees must be included in quoted costs. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder offering best value to the State, considering quality, conformity to specifications, delivery dates, and ultimate cost. Unit prices must be delivered to destination and include all trade and quantity discounts. The State is exempt from Federal and Maine State Sales and Use Taxes. Pricing must remain firm for 20 days or longer to qualify for cash discounts. Tie bids will be resolved with preference given to in-state bidders or those offering commodities produced or manufactured in Maine.
