About this opportunity

The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting bids on Kodak microfilm supplies for the 2009–2010 fiscal period, with bids due August 14, 2009.

The scope comprises approximately 50 line items of microfilm processing consumables and replacement components, including developers, fixers, toners, cleaning systems, lamps, film stock in 16mm and 35mm formats, scanner components, and maintenance materials. Specific items listed include Kodak ProStar developer and fixer cases, feeder kits, imaging guides, duplicating film, and professional non-flammable reversal stock in multiple lengths and configurations.

Bids must submit separate unit prices for each item, with all discounts and transportation charges included in the quoted price. Bidders may propose alternate commodities of equal quality and performance with complete identification and descriptive literature. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder considering best value to the State. The State is exempt from Federal and Maine State Sales and Use Taxes and should not be included in bids. Cash discounts of 20 days or more are considered in determining the low bidder; shorter discounts are not factored into award decisions.

Bids must be submitted to the Division of Purchases, Room 119, 9 State House Station, State Office Building, Augusta, Maine, prior to the closing date and time. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, increase or decrease quantities by up to 10%, and requires contractors to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, including the Maine Chemical Substance Identification Law for hazardous materials.
