About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases posted a solicitation for Kodak Microfilm Supplies on July 2, 2008, with the same date as the proposal due date.
The scope encompasses microfilm-related supplies and equipment including developer and fixer solutions, microfilm reels, scanner components, lamps, toner cartridges, imaging guides, and duplicating films from Kodak and Fuji manufacturers. A secondary product category in the vendor catalog lists police and security guard uniforms supplied by Baker Uniform Supply through Red the Uniform Tailor, available in sizes small through extra-large, including pants, shirts, hats, long coats, and jackets; uniform pricing ranges from $29.99 to $109.99 per unit with standard 10-day delivery.
The General Terms and Conditions of Purchase Order bind the contractor to ensure all supplied articles and services conform to specifications, are of merchantable quality, and are free from defects in material and workmanship. The Division reserves the right to reject any items not conforming to contract requirements or to reject entire shipments if sample inspection reveals ten percent or more defective articles. The Division may increase, decrease, or eliminate portions of the work and adjust delivery dates without voiding the agreement provided alterations are made in writing. Deliveries must be made without charge for boxing, carting, or storage unless otherwise specified, with all packages plainly marked with order numbers and accompanied by bills of lading. The contractor is liable for excess costs incurred due to failure to meet delivery schedules and may be charged for expedited routing costs if deliveries fall behind schedule. The contractor may be terminated for failure to deliver articles on time, failure to deliver specified materials or services, failure to perform any contract provisions, or if adjudged bankrupt. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including environmental standards and energy efficiency requirements, and must provide material safety data sheets for hazardous chemicals.
