A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for March 5, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Harvey Government Center in Key West, with failure to attend resulting in bid disqualification. Sealed electronic bids are due by 3:00 p.m. on March 26, 2026, via the Bonfire platform (https://monroecounty-fl.bonfirehub.com), with a virtual bid opening held the same day. The total contract duration is 186 calendar days, consisting of a 120-calendar-day permit and procurement phase and a 66-calendar-day construction phase, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per day assessed for delays. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all qualification requirements within 230 days of bid opening.
