About this opportunity
The Oregon Department of Forestry is conducting an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for comprehensive janitorial services at the Tillamook Forest Center, seeking a contractor to provide all labor and personnel necessary to perform detailed cleaning and maintenance tasks. The procurement aims to establish a one-year contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with specific requirements including daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning duties across the facility. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of three years of relevant janitorial experience and provide professional references to qualify. Key procurement dates include a mandatory pre-bid conference on February 28, 2024, a deadline for questions and clarifications on March 19, 2024, with answers to be issued on March 21, 2024. The original bid closing date of March 4, 2024, has been extended to March 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with an anticipated notice of intent to award on April 2, 2024, and contract execution projected for April 5, 2024. Site visits are available only by appointment, and the successful contractor will be responsible for performing all janitorial services as detailed in the Statement of Work, Exhibit A of the ITB.
The ITB documentation does not explicitly mention any specific set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or restrictions on bidder types. No incumbent vendor information is provided, and there are no explicit details about existing infrastructure or technological integration requirements. While the procurement documents do not specify a precise budget range or award value, the contract is structured as a one-year term with the potential for future renewal. The procurement is open to qualified janitorial service providers who can meet the technical specifications and experience requirements outlined in the ITB. The Oregon Department of Forestry anticipates awarding a single contract through this competitive bidding process, with the successful bidder expected to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies governing janitorial service contracts.
