The contract incorporates the City of New Haven's Livable Wage Ordinance, currently set at $21.38 per hour with employer-provided benefits, and includes extensive equal employment opportunity requirements. Contractors must comply with various local and federal regulations, including Executive Orders 11246 and 11375, and the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act. While a specific contract value is not explicitly stated, the comprehensive specifications suggest a substantial municipal service contract. Vendors must submit detailed documentation, including a Statement of Qualifications demonstrating business history, financial stability, and organizational capabilities. Additional compliance requirements include mandatory background checks for staff, training in bloodborne pathogens and evacuation procedures, and staff uniforms with company identification.
