About this opportunity

Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services is requesting informal written quotations for the upgrade and installation of an infrared assistive listening system in eight courtrooms, with quotes due June 12, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

The scope includes removal of existing RF ALS hardware and installation of specified IR equipment across eight courtrooms: eight ListenIR 2-Channel Transmitter/Radiator Combos (Model LT-84), 32 Advanced Intelligent DSP IR Receivers (Model LR-5200-IR), 32 Intelligent Ear Phone/Neck Loop Lanyards (Model LA-430), 32 Universal Ear Speaker/Headphones (Model LA-401), and eight Intelligent 12-Unit Charging Trays (Model LA-381). Vendors must also supply USB to Micro USB cables and perform removal, installation, cabling infrastructure, rack integration, system configuration, comprehensive testing, commissioning, and documentation. Installation must be coordinated around active courtroom schedules, with contractors anticipating extended project timelines due to judicial operations constraints. Delivery is FOB Destination, Freight Prepaid and Allowed to 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.

Vendors must provide three references of similar project scope and size; current insurance certifications including General Liability ($2 million aggregate), Automobile Liability ($1 million combined single limit), and Workers Compensation per Georgia statutory limits; and a signed Contractor Affidavit and Agreement demonstrating compliance with the Georgia Illegal Immigration Reform Enhancements for 2013. Vendors must acknowledge all applicable addenda and provide full product identification including brand names, model numbers, and catalog numbers. A valid Gwinnett County occupation tax certificate is required upon award. Electronic payment via ePayables or Direct Deposit is required. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Quotes should be submitted on the County's fee schedule with pricing to two decimal places via email to Bethany.White@GwinnettCounty.com or by mail to the Purchasing Division at the Lawrenceville address.
