IT Equipment Auction

The Needham School Committee in Norfolk County, Massachusetts is holding a public auction on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 11:00 - 11:30 AM to dispose of surplus computer equipment from the Information Technology Center. Items available for sale include computers, monitors, smartboards, network equipment, projectors, printers, VCRs, keyboard cases, and assorted AV and computer equipment. A preview of the items will be available for inspection from 10:30 - 11:00 AM on the same day at the Broadmeadow Elementary School in Needham. All items will be sold as a single lot to the highest bidder, and purchasers must remove all items by 3:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2020 or they will be disposed of with no refund. Payments can be made by cash, check, money order, or bank check, but credit cards will not be accepted. The Needham Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and bidders must submit their offers using the provided bid form, which includes a non-collusion statement. If two bidders offer the same price, the winner will be determined by a coin toss. All sales are final and items are sold "as is".

This appears to be an open public auction with no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The Needham Public Schools may choose to dispose of some items internally rather than offering them for public auction, and the listing of items available is subject to change up until the date and time of the auction. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed, and the value of the auction is not specified.
