Electronic submission through BidBuy is mandatory; paper responses will not be accepted per CPO Notice 2023.12.
The scope is five FS-282 trucks with cab and chassis, each equipped with a 30,000 lb. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating and 280 horsepower Cummins B6.7 diesel engines, fitted with complete mechanical street sweeping systems. All units must be current-year production, fully assembled, and delivered FOB destination to ISTHA Central Shop at 3460 Finley Road, Downers Grove, Illinois 60515. Vendors must submit manufacturers' product literature and a completed Specification Compliance Questionnaire at bid time documenting any deviations. The vendor must be the manufacturer or an authorized dealer/distributor capable of furnishing original product warranties and manufacturer-related services.
Award is made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on total price for all line items. The bid price must be inclusive of delivery, training, and all ancillary costs and shall remain firm for the 36-month contract term. Manufacturers' warranties must cover a minimum of one year on cab, chassis, engine, transmission, drivetrain, and sweeper components. Training includes two days of operator instruction and up to two one-day mechanics' sessions at no additional cost. Delivery requires three business days' advance notice to ISTHA's Senior Manager of Fleet Assets. The contract is subject to funding availability and may be terminated for convenience with 30 days' notice or for cause immediately. A remote electronic bid opening will be conducted via Microsoft Teams on the date and time published in BidBuy (Reference 26-557THA-PROCU-B-50391).
