The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, specifically the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) in Suffolk County, is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB# 1379-01) for the procurement of window guards. The contract term will be for one year with an option to extend up to an additional six months. Delivery of the ordered window guards must be made within 45 working days. The BHA will evaluate bids separately for each section and may award contracts independently for any section. Bidders must submit a bid guarantee of at least 5% of the bid amount and provide a performance and payment bond or other assurance of completion if awarded the contract.

The contract opportunity is open to all interested and qualified bidders, with no indication of any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The solicitation documents do not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors. The total budget or award value for the contract is also not specified in the provided materials. Bidders must comply with all relevant Massachusetts state and federal laws, regulations, and other contractual requirements, as outlined in the General Conditions and Special Conditions documents.
