About this opportunity

The Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive Medicaid enrollment services for offenders across 28 IDOC facilities statewide. The selected vendor will be required to provide on-site services 1-2 days per week with the goal of enrolling 15,000 to 20,000 individuals per year. The initial contract term is 3 years, with the option to renew for up to 3 additional years. Vendors must submit pricing in a specific format, providing the total 3-year cost. Expenses are not allowed, and the State may receive a discount for prompt payment. The total payments under this contract shall not exceed a maximum amount to be determined by the State prior to contract execution.

This solicitation is being issued through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) process, with the contract awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. There is no small business set-aside for this opportunity, but there are goals for participation by businesses owned by minorities, women, persons with disabilities, and veteran-owned small businesses. The contract was previously awarded to AdminProsUS, with TASC, Inc. and SIMPCO as the unsuccessful bidders. Vendors must submit their bids electronically through the BidBuy system by the February 26, 2021 deadline.
