IDOC-Centralia CC-244-LightBlueTwill, tan twill-JWW

This state and local contract opportunity is for the procurement of 10,000 yards of light blue twill and 5,000 yards of tan twill fabric by the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) for the Centralia Correctional Center. The contract is a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with a term from the date of the Warden's signature through June 30, 2022, with no renewal options. The pricing for the light blue twill is $X per yard and the pricing for the tan twill is $Y per yard. The fabric will be used to produce jumpsuits for the correctional facility. The contract will be funded through the General Revenue Fund (GRF) for the 2022 fiscal year. Additional terms include requirements for the fabric specifications, certifications, invoicing, and payment.

The procurement is being conducted through the State of Illinois' BidBuy system, and all bids must be submitted electronically. There is no mention of any set asides or incumbent supplier in the provided documentation. The total contract value is not specified, but the required quantities of fabric suggest a potentially significant procurement. Interested vendors must submit their technical proposals and other required documentation through the Primary Bid number, and their pricing proposal through the Secondary Bid number, to ensure pricing remains locked until after technical evaluations are completed. Bids are due by January 31, 2022.
