UNSPSC 11162120: Bolting cloth

UNSPSC 11162120 Bolting cloth (Commodity) shows minimal recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The single recent opportunity tagged to this code—Sourcewell RFP #061626, posted May 12, 2026, with a June 16, 2026 response deadline—solicits law enforcement equipment for a multi-jurisdictional cooperative purchasing vehicle, not bolting cloth or textile screening materials. The mismatch suggests the code may be misapplied in the state and local taxonomy or that the opportunity was broadly tagged across multiple commodity families within law enforcement procurement. No recent solicitations for bolting cloth, wire cloth, or related industrial screening materials appear in the available state and local contract database.

The Sourcewell cooperative vehicle itself represents a significant purchasing structure spanning Washington state counties (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, Yakima) and participating entities nationwide, but the substantive procurement—law enforcement equipment—falls outside the bolting cloth commodity scope. Vendors pursuing this code should verify whether bolting cloth or screening materials are actually specified in state and local equipment, facility maintenance, or manufacturing solicitations before investing in qualification or proposal preparation. The code shows no independent recent activity from state departments, county purchasing offices, cities, school districts, or transit authorities seeking bolting cloth directly.
