About this opportunity
The Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking a vendor to supply youth furniture for Illinois Youth Center (IYC) Warrenville under Basic Ordering Agreement B-52349, with proposals due May 15, 2026.
The scope consists of six RYNO Activity/Dining Tables with dark granite tops and black bases, 24 RYNO Dining Chairs in three colors (8 units each in Teal, Warm Terracotta, and Violet), and six HARBY Sideboard 3-Door 3-Drawer units in Hickory finish with locks and smooth corners. Delivery is FOB destination to 30 West 200 Ferry Road, Warrenville, Illinois 60563-9683. White-glove delivery and floor-fixing installation are not required; standard shipping applies.
This is a one-time purchase structured as a Small Purchase acquisition method under $50,000. The contract term extends through December 31, 2026, with payment due upon invoice submission for delivered supplies. Funding is contingent on State of Illinois fiscal year 2026 appropriations, and the Department retains termination and suspension rights if appropriations prove insufficient.
Vendors must execute the Standard Illinois Certifications document, which imposes 34 distinct compliance requirements covering criminal history restrictions, financial delinquency prohibitions, environmental compliance, labor standards, drug-free workplace requirements, equal employment opportunity, cybersecurity clearances, and restrictions on lobbying and political contributions. Vendors must be legally constituted entities authorized to transact business in Illinois and comply with Illinois Use Tax and Environmental Protection Act requirements. False certifications expose vendors to contract voidability, suspension, debarment, denial of payment, and civil or criminal penalties under the Illinois False Claims Act.
Vendors must maintain commercial general liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million annual aggregate, with the State named as additionally insured. Worker's compensation insurance is required per law.
