About this file

This is an Amendment 1 Question and Answer document issued by the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice (IDJJ) for Bid 26-425DJJ-WARRE-B-52349 regarding youth furniture procurement for Illinois Youth Center (IYC) Warrenville. The RFQ seeks vendors capable of providing RYNO Activity/Dining Tables, RYNO Dining Chairs, and HARBY Sideboard 3-Door 3-Drawer units with delivery to the facility site. The amendment addresses two critical clarifications from potential bidders regarding delivery and installation requirements.

The amendment confirms that white-glove delivery is not required for this procurement; vendors should only provide standard shipping with FOB Destination to the facility site. Additionally, floor fixing of the furniture items is not required, and vendors should not include floor-fixing installation kits in their quotes. These clarifications streamline the bidding process by reducing delivery complexity and associated costs while establishing clear expectations for the condition and configuration of furniture upon delivery.
