The solicitation encompasses 14 line items: 12 double upright ice bins ranging from 2,700 to 5,900 pounds capacity, and 2 standalone ice machine specifications. Ice bins must feature seamless stainless steel interiors and exteriors, polyurethane or polystyrene foam insulation, and six feet with minimum six-inch heights; they must be compatible with specified Vogt Series ice machines or approved equals. Referenced acceptable models include Kloppenberg and MGR units. Six lines (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12) offer optional prison/security package configurations. Ice machines must produce a minimum of 3,600 pounds per day (11 units, Vogt HES40 or equal) or 6,000 pounds per day (2 units, Vogt HFO3 or equal). Both ice bins and ice machines require UL or NSF certification. Ice machines require three-phase electrical supply at 200/230 volts, 60 Hertz, with compressor horsepower ratings of 6 to 6.5. All items are specified for statewide delivery across Texas facilities, including use in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice correctional system. Bidders must provide unit pricing for each line item and specify proposed delivery timelines and any advance-required-order terms. All deliveries are designated for statewide locations. The procurement permits equal alternatives to named manufacturers. No reserve prices have been established. Bidders must submit a Warranty Service Provider form identifying authorized warranty and support providers.
