About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Financial Services, through its My Safe Florida Home (MSFH) program, is seeking to have Crawford Entertainment produce a single episode of its "How To Do Florida" television program to promote the goals of the MSFH program. This is a single-source procurement, as Crawford Entertainment has produced the "How To Do Florida" program for the past 9 years and owns the program's trademark, while also having an existing audience of over 1.2 million viewers in the target demographic. Prospective vendors have until November 7, 2022 at 9:00 AM ET to provide information regarding their ability to supply these services. If it is determined that the services are only available from Crawford Entertainment, the Department will post notice of its intended decision to enter into an agreement with the vendor. The estimated dollar amount for this one-time purchase is $150,000. The Department indicates that Crawford Entertainment has the necessary experience and resources to produce a "How To Do Florida" episode that will help promote the goals of the MSFH program within the state of Florida.
This procurement is open to all interested vendors, and there are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The incumbent vendor, Crawford Entertainment, currently holds the rights to the "How To Do Florida" program and is the sole source for these services. The Department has not provided any information regarding existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration, and the budget range for this procurement is $150,000.
