About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for gun oil (Item 2098279) through a purchase order procurement posted on March 16, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 23, 2026. Vendors must access the complete project details and specifications through the Bonfire procurement platform by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process, which will provide access to the in-browser BidTable containing all vendor response fields and project requirements. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is explicitly identified as essential to the contract, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for order rejection and default termination by the Contracting Officer. Vendors must submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made on Net 30 terms, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date, with partial deliveries eligible for payment when amounts warrant acceptance by the Authority.

The procurement documents do not indicate any specific set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or restrictions on the types of organizations eligible to respond. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The supporting documentation package includes the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions (112KB PDF), which vendors must review prior to submission. The specific award value, budget range, and detailed quantity requirements for the gun oil procurement are not disclosed in the summary information provided; vendors must access the complete BidTable specifications through the Bonfire platform for full pricing and delivery requirements. Prospective bidders should thoroughly review all terms and conditions governing DART procurements prior to submitting their bids by the March 23, 2026 deadline.
