About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure Hi-Temp Lithium Complex Grease in 400 lb quantities through a competitive solicitation with bid number 2097537. The procurement opportunity was posted on January 15, 2026, with proposals due by January 22, 2026. Vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and submit responses. The procurement requires vendors to provide grease products with specific technical specifications, with delivery terms mandating FOB Destination shipping and freight costs included in the overall price. Potential suppliers must adhere to strict delivery timelines, as time and delivery rates are considered essential elements of the order. DART will evaluate submissions based on compliance with purchase order terms and conditions, pricing, delivery capabilities, and overall responsiveness to the solicitation requirements. Vendors must submit comprehensive bid documentation including detailed product specifications, pricing breakdowns, delivery schedules, and complete invoice information.
The solicitation does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged business enterprises based on the provided documentation. Vendors must comply with DART's standard purchase order terms, which include provisions for equal opportunity requirements and compliance with Texas state regulations. Payment terms are established as Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and requiring specific documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement allows for potential default termination if vendors fail to meet specified performance conditions. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the available documentation, the solicitation suggests this is a operational procurement for critical maintenance supplies. Vendors must be prepared to provide high-quality lithium complex grease meeting DART's operational specifications and demonstrate capability to fulfill order requirements consistently and reliably.
