About this opportunity
Summary of State and/or Local Contracting Opportunity:
Temple College in Temple, Texas is soliciting grant evaluation services for U.S. Department of Education (ED) grants through a Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The scope of services includes meeting with the College twice a year, conducting data inquiry and analysis, developing data collection tools, providing formative and summative evaluations, and attending an annual ED conference in Washington D.C. Respondents must demonstrate content expertise, staff qualifications, ability to handle multiple deliverables, experience meeting ED reporting requirements, and reasonably priced hourly rates. The College will evaluate the responses and establish a shortlist of qualified firms to provide ED grant evaluation services for a period of three years. The top-ranked firm will be selected for contract negotiation when an ED grant is awarded, and if an agreement cannot be reached, the College will move down the shortlist. Responses are due by September 6, 2023 at 12:00 P.M.
The RFQ does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The incumbent vendor or current contractor is not identified. The budget range or possible award value is also not provided in the RFQ. Pricing shall remain fixed during the initial contract term, and any subsequent renewals may include price adjustments based on cost increases in manufacturing or labor.
