About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Purchasing Department has issued Request for Quotation (RFQ) #650482/JM for examination gloves under a term contract solicitation. The County seeks quotations for two items: medium and large examination gloves manufactured by Medgluv Inc. (Models MLD2003 and MLD2004, SENSIGLUV PF Disposable Gloves) or equal products meeting specified standards. The estimated annual quantities are 91,600 medium gloves and 109,000 large gloves per individual glove unit. All examination gloves must meet or exceed ASTM and FDA industry and safety standards. Responses must be submitted to the Palm Beach County Purchasing Department no later than 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time on February 24, 2021. The successful quoter will be awarded a contract for twelve months with options to renew for four additional twelve-month periods, subject to mutual written agreement and Board appropriation of funds. Delivery is required within ten calendar days after receipt of a term contract delivery order to the Palm Beach County Purchasing Warehouse located at 2455 Vista Parkway, West Palm Beach, Florida 33411. Pricing must be firm and fixed for the initial term and all renewal periods, with unit prices quoted per individual glove and calculated within four decimal points. The County will award to the lowest responsive, responsible quoter on an all-or-none basis, meaning vendors must bid all items or their entire bid will be deemed non-responsive.
The solicitation includes provisions for Small/Minority/Women Business Enterprise (S/M/WBE) participation with local preference provisions for Palm Beach County businesses. Vendors must be registered in the County's Vendor Self Service system and must comply with all applicable Federal, State, County, and local laws, including E-Verify employment eligibility verification, criminal history records checks, and non-discrimination requirements. The F.O.B. point is destination, with the vendor retaining title and responsibility for all transportation costs, liability, and risk in transit. Palm Beach County is exempt from Federal and State taxes. No incumbent vendors or budget range is specified in the solicitation documents provided; the award will be determined by competitive pricing from responsive and responsible bidders.
