About this opportunity

Montgomery County, Tennessee is requesting sealed bids on electrical alteration work for a generator installation at 350 Pageant Lane, Clarksville, with bids due June 25, 2026 and a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walk on June 11, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Montgomery County Civic Hall, Room A. Bidders must be licensed electrical contractors in Tennessee; late arrival beyond 15 minutes after the 10:00 a.m. start time disqualifies attendance and bid eligibility, with the meeting closing at 10:15 a.m.

The scope includes installation of new electrical circuits, conduits, breakers, and associated equipment above ceiling and through walls to power existing outlets and circuits from a different generator panel with new breakers. Work also encompasses installation of a new door opener with associated push button activators onto existing circuitry. An add alternate covers running new circuits to switch over existing lighting.

Sealed bids must be received by Elizabeth L. Black, Purchasing Agent, at Montgomery County Purchasing, 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 101-E, Clarksville, Tennessee 37040 by 10:00 a.m. on June 25, 2026. Sealed bid envelopes must include the contractor's name, address, Tennessee license number, license expiration date, and applicable license classification. Bid documents are available in PDF format by email request to Montgomery County Engineering at engineer@montgomerytn.gov, with responses provided within 48 hours. Bidders may not withdraw bids for 60 days following bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities.
