About this opportunity
The Texas Office of the Attorney General is requesting bids for Staccato HD C4X 9mm duty pistols with agency-approved optics and associated accessories for commissioned peace officers assigned to the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit under IFB 302-26-238495, with bids due July 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. Questions are due July 8, 2026, with answers posted by July 14, 2026.
The scope is limited to Staccato HD C4X 9mm pistols in the specified brand, make, and model — only bids conforming exactly to these specifications will be considered for award. Bidders must quote all items or none. Vendors must submit responses via the Bonfire platform at https://texasoag.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/238495, including a signed cover page, completed pricing sheet (Form A), vendor letterhead quote, HUB Subcontracting Plan if applicable, and a completed questionnaire regarding preference for Texas and U.S. products and recycled materials.
Awards will be made on best-value basis under Texas Government Code Section 2155.067, considering price, compliance with OAG terms and conditions, acceptance of specifications, and bidder qualifications. The OAG reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities prior to award based on bid results and budget constraints, reject any or all offers, make partial awards, and waive any informalities.
Pricing must remain firm for 60 days, and all delivery-related charges must be included in quoted prices. The contract will be effective upon issuance and expire based on arrival and receipt of order (ARO) as specified on the pricing form. Payment will be made in accordance with the Texas Prompt Payment Act. Vendors must maintain Workers Compensation and Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, comply with E-Verify requirements, maintain cybersecurity training certifications, and implement data security controls. The contract is indefinite duration subject to state appropriations and may be terminated by the Agency at any time with thirty days' written notice without penalty.
