About this opportunity
The State of Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has issued an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) to select a vendor to provide a FX Claims and Encounters Processing (Core) Module as part of the state's Florida Health Care Connections (FX) transformation initiative. The Core Module is a central component of Phase 3 of the FX Strategic Roadmap, which will enable the modular, integrated business and IT transformation vision. The selected vendor will be responsible for developing, implementing, hosting, and maintaining information technology and business solutions for claims and encounters processing, financial management, and recipient data management. The ITN outlines detailed submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and a solicitation timeline, with a response deadline of December 15, 2021, and an anticipated contract award posting on July 8, 2022. The anticipated contract term is November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2029, with optional renewal periods up to three additional years, and the anticipated contract amount is $154,500,000.
The ITN does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. It also does not provide details on the incumbent contractor or any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The payment structure is expected to include fixed price deliverables for design, development and implementation, and monthly fixed pricing for ongoing operations and maintenance services, with AHCA's performance and obligation to pay contingent on annual appropriation by the Florida legislature.
