About this opportunity

The Nevada Division of Water Resources is seeking proposals from engineering firms to provide updated inundation maps for the South Fork Dam located in Elko County, Nevada. The selected contractor will be required to deliver a set of inundation maps, a copy of the model used to generate flood parameters, elevation datasets, and model output. This is an update to an existing inundation map, and the Division will provide the contractor with available data, including previous studies and design information, to assist in the development of the updated maps. Proposals are due by 4:30 PM on April 15, 2019, and the anticipated contract start date is August 13, 2019, contingent upon approval by the Nevada Board of Examiners. The contract will be awarded based on factors such as the proposer's project approach, availability and capacity, education and experience of key personnel, past performance, and equipment.

This procurement does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to limit the scope of work prior to award if deemed in the best interest of the State. No incumbent vendor or current contractor information is provided, and the total contract amount is not specified. However, the Division notes that the total contract amount is not to exceed an unspecified sum.
