UNSPSC 60103409: Map measurers

UNSPSC 60103409 Map measurers is a Commodity code that in current state and local procurement reflects a significant mislabeling or data-entry error. The single recent opportunity tagged to this code — Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative's catalog discount bid for classroom furniture and supplies — bears no relationship to map measurement, surveying instruments, or related services. The code's nominal scope (map measurers) does not align with what is actually being solicited under it in the state and local market.

Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative, a regional education cooperative covering multiple school districts and public entities in Texas, posted RFP CLSF2628 on June 23, 2026, seeking vendors to supply classroom furniture and supplies on a catalog discount basis through May 26, 2026. The estimated expenditure across the two-year contract term (June 18, 2026, through June 18, 2028) is $21,568,516.00. This procurement shows an established vendor base of 62 prior award recipients. The code shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its stated commodity classification; procurement professionals pursuing actual map measurement and surveying work should verify the correct UNSPSC code through their state or local procurement office rather than rely on this category.
