About this opportunity
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is seeking a contractor to provide Families Together Building Solutions (FTBS) services in Monroe and Lenawee Counties, as well as the Village of Mayville. FTBS is designed to assist families with substantiated claims of neglect or abuse through strengths-based, solution-focused intervention techniques and support services tailored to each family's needs. The goal is to reduce future maltreatment and prevent unnecessary placement of children in foster care, supporting the safety and well-being of these families. The selected contractor will be responsible for quickly engaging families, incorporating their voice into service plans, collaborating closely with referral sources, and coordinating with community partners. The contract term is from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2027, with the possibility of two one-year renewals. Proposals will be evaluated on criteria including bidder experience, staff qualifications, program implementation, and adherence to contract terms. Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through the SIGMA Vendor Self Service website by March 15, 2024.
The maximum award amount for this opportunity is $390,000, which includes $358,500 for FTBS services, $22,500 for transportation, and $9,000 for specific assistance. The contract does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The RFP does not provide information about incumbent vendors or current contractors. The contract may be extended to MiDEAL members, State of Michigan employees, and other states, and the state reserves the right to impose an administrative fee and negotiate additional discounts based on increased volume.
