About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure Freon R134A in 30 lb. bottles through a competitive bidding process for the local government contract opportunity. The procurement is specifically referenced as bid number 2095736, with a posting date of October 10, 2025, and a response deadline of October 16, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the platform's BidTable interface. DART requires vendors to provide pricing with FOB Destination shipping terms, ensuring freight costs are included in the overall bid price. The procurement mandates strict delivery terms, emphasizing that time and delivery rate are critical, with potential contract termination for failure to meet specified delivery parameters. Vendors must comply with DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions, which include Net 30 payment terms and specific invoice submission requirements to the email address APInvoices@dart.org.

The contract opportunity appears to have standard vendor participation requirements without specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must meet DART's comprehensive compliance standards, including certifications that they are not on lists of companies with contracts with foreign terrorist organizations and do not boycott Israel. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement is for a specific refrigerant product (Freon R134A in 30 lb. bottles). Potential bidders must demonstrate capability to provide the specified product meeting DART's quality and delivery specifications. The contract will be governed by the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which establishes a comprehensive legal framework for the transaction. Vendors should carefully review all documentation, particularly the detailed terms and conditions PDF, to ensure full compliance with DART's procurement requirements and standards.
