About this opportunity
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is requesting bids for warehouse rental and storage services for Haworth modular furniture parts and components, with bids due October 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time and vendor questions due October 22, 2026.
The scope is approximately 7,000 square feet of warehouse space located within a 25-mile radius of Austin, Texas, staffed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. excluding state and federal holidays. The awardee must maintain an inventory management system compatible with Word and Excel, properly store and stack components on pallets, pull products for installation projects, maintain a secure climate-controlled environment free of roof leaks and hazardous materials, and separate TCEQ's Haworth furniture from other stored equipment using heavy plastic sheeting or an approved equivalent. Personnel must be knowledgeable in Haworth systems furniture. Bidders must provide a minimum of two references for similar services. The awardee is responsible for all warehouse operations and inventory replacement costs; TCEQ will not cover transition fees. Within 14 days of award, the awardee must transfer all modular furniture and components from the current location at no cost to TCEQ.
The contract term runs November 1, 2026 through October 30, 2027. Pricing should be submitted on a per-square-foot basis; bidders may include transition fees in the square-foot price or add them separately. TCEQ reserves the right to conduct quarterly site inspections and to terminate the contract if performance standards are not met after a 30-day remedy period. Bidders must comply with Texas Government Code provisions regarding preferences, anti-boycott certifications, and cybersecurity training requirements for any personnel accessing TCEQ computer systems.
