This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for the rental of warehouse storage space to house Haworth modular furniture parts and components. The TCEQ seeks approximately 7,000 square feet of warehouse space located within a 25-mile radius of Austin, Texas, to be used exclusively for storing Haworth systems furniture and related components. The warehouse must be staffed Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding state and federal holidays, with personnel knowledgeable in Haworth systems furniture. Responses are due October 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time, with a deadline for vendor questions set at October 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time. The contract term runs from November 1, 2026, through October 30, 2027. Bidders must provide a minimum of two references for similar services and are responsible for transferring all modular furniture and components from the current location at no cost to TCEQ within 14 days of award. The TCEQ reserves the right to conduct quarterly site inspections to ensure compliance with warehouse standards.

Pricing should be submitted on a per-square-foot basis for the 7,000-square-foot space, with bidders permitted to either include transition fees in their square-foot price or add them separately during bid evaluation. TCEQ will not cover transition fees. The awarded vendor is responsible for all warehouse operations, including maintaining an inventory management system compatible with Word and Excel, properly storing and stacking components on pallets, pulling products for installation projects, keeping products clean, maintaining a secure climate-controlled environment free of roof leaks and hazardous materials, and replacing any damaged or lost inventory at vendor expense. Vendor must separate TCEQ's Haworth furniture from other stored equipment using heavy plastic sheeting or an approved equivalent. TCEQ reserves the right to terminate the contract if performance standards are not met after a 30-day remedy period. Bidders are subject to standard state procurement requirements, including compliance with Texas Government Code provisions regarding preferences, anti-boycott certifications, and cybersecurity training requirements for any personnel accessing TCEQ computer systems.
