About this opportunity

The Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials, Inc. (FAPPO) is seeking proposals from Association Management Companies (AMCs) to manage the organization's comprehensive administrative functions and conference management services. This procurement opportunity targets an AMC that will handle a wide range of responsibilities including office management, board support, membership services, conference planning, professional development, marketing, and financial management for the association's approximately 1,500 members. The RFP requires electronic submissions through the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) e-procurement portal, with proposals due by 4:00 PM EST on December 19, 2025. Evaluation of proposals will be conducted using a 100-point scoring system, with points allocated as follows: qualifications (40 points), value-added proposals (20 points), references (10 points), and fee structure (30 points). The anticipated contract term is one year, beginning July 1, 2026, with a potential 90-day transition overlap with the current Executive Director to ensure smooth operational continuity.

There are no specific set-aside designations or restrictions mentioned for respondents to this procurement opportunity. The AMC must maintain professional liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million in aggregate coverage. Compensation will be structured as a monthly fee covering all specified services, though the exact budget range is not explicitly stated in the documentation. The selected AMC will be responsible for representing FAPPO professionally, collaborating with other professional associations, and supporting the organization's Officers, Board of Directors, and general membership. While no incumbent vendor is specifically identified, the RFP suggests a transition from the current Executive Director, indicating an existing management structure that the new AMC will be expected to integrate with seamlessly. The successful firm will need to demonstrate exceptional organizational and administrative management skills, with an ability to provide strategic value beyond basic management services.
