About this opportunity

Escambia County Fire Rescue is requesting quotes for annual air compressor maintenance and repair services on 13 units distributed throughout the county under ITQ, with responses due October 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., and questions due by October 14, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

The scope includes bi-annual service (in fiscal quarters 2 and 4), quarterly air sampling throughout fiscal year 26-27 (October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027), and hourly rates for unscheduled repairs. Bi-annual service encompasses oil and filter changes, replacement of air filters, seals, gaskets, and belts, with air samples collected upon completion; two of the four quarterly samples derive from these service visits. All air samples must comply with NFPA 1989 standards. The compressor inventory spans primarily Bauer models (including MU13-1-230, MU13A1-230-60, and trailer-mounted units), with additional Arctic and Mako equipment and one American Air Works unit. Original equipment manufacturer parts are preferred; equivalent-quality alternatives are acceptable. Materials must be priced as a percentage discount off manufacturer's suggested retail price or list cost.

Respondents must provide quotes in the county's pricing table for bi-annual service, quarterly air sampling, and unscheduled repair hourly rates. Required documentation includes proof of Florida Sunbiz registration (or commitment to register before payment if out-of-state), a completed W-9 form, and supporting documentation. Escambia County requires commercial general liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate, business automobile liability of $1 million per occurrence, and Florida statutory workers' compensation with employers' liability limits of at least $1 million per accident. Electronic submission is required through the OpenGov Procurement portal. Contact Greg Campanella, Division Chief, at gtcampan@myescambia.com or (850) 475-5557.
