The base bid includes two allowances totaling $70,000 for unforeseen conditions and hazardous materials management, with five pre-approved alternates available for additional work. Bidders must submit company qualifications, equipment lists, proposed schedules, key personnel information, permit strategies, waste disposal plans, dust control plans, and traffic control plans with their proposals. The District has established a minority and women's business enterprise utilization goal of at least 25 percent Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 5 percent Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) participation, with required certification through the Missouri Division of Purchasing and Material Management or the City of St. Louis Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program. All bidders must submit a bid bond or certified check equal to five percent of the base bid prior to electronic submission, payable to the Board of Education and issued by a Corporate Surety Company with A.M.
