Two distinct scopes are present in the solicitation materials: one for annual maintenance and support of a Thermo Fisher Scientific SampleManager LIMS system, and a second for one year of maintenance support for an EDAX X-Ray system (Elect Plus/Octane Pro/Apollo X/Apollo 10 System models, Gatan Catalog #S2DU-2-2025).
For the SampleManager LIMS scope, the vendor must provide comprehensive annual maintenance covering ten user licenses, two external data read-only licenses, one Integration Manager base license supporting three instruments, two instrument connection licenses allowing up to five instruments each, one SampleManager SQC module instance license, one Data Manager license, and one concurrent user license. The vendor is responsible for scheduled preventative maintenance, software subscription patches and updates at no additional charge, technical support via telephone and email during business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST) with extended hours for severity 1 requests, real-time help desk services, and FTP file transfer support. The vendor must support migration to Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2 while maintaining current operation on SQL Server 2008 R2 with SampleManager version 11.2 service pack 2 on Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit desktop clients. The vendor must be authorized to issue SampleManager user licenses and instrument connection licenses and must provide all necessary hardware, software, and equipment. Acceptance requires complete sequential testing of all LIMS modules and subsystems with full operational status at the TCEQ Austin Laboratory.
The contract term is one year with potential extension by written agreement. Place of performance is TCEQ, 12100 Park 35 Circle, Building B, Austin, Texas 78753.
