About this opportunity

The City of Griffin in Spalding County, Georgia, is conducting a competitive sealed proposal procurement for a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and services solution. The primary objective is to acquire a fully integrated, public-sector financial and administrative data processing system that meets the current and projected technological needs of the city. Specific procurement goals include implementing best practices through process review, enhancing staff efficiency, decentralizing business processes, ensuring data integrity through single-entry systems, and selecting an intuitive and flexible platform. The RFP (Request for Proposal) seeks a single vendor responsible for providing all software, software maintenance, installation, conversion, and support services. The procurement is designed to secure a long-term technology solution that will serve the city effectively for a minimum of 10 years. The proposal was posted on March 31, 2025, with responses due by April 30, 2025, creating a 30-day window for potential vendors to prepare and submit comprehensive proposals.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types were explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. The city has not guaranteed a minimum contract value, which suggests flexibility in potential vendor responses. While the RFP does not outline specific budget constraints, the comprehensive nature of the ERP system procurement indicates a significant technological investment. The proposal emphasizes a holistic approach to system implementation, focusing on integrated functionality across various municipal administrative processes. Interested vendors will need to demonstrate extensive experience in public-sector ERP solutions, with capabilities to support financial management, administrative data processing, and system integration. The city's evaluation will likely prioritize vendors who can showcase a robust, scalable solution that aligns with their stated goals of efficiency, flexibility, and long-term technological sustainability.
