About this opportunity

This is an emergency contract extension from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to continue the operation of the Illinois Hospital Report Card/Consumer Guide to Health System website. The original emergency contract with Island Peer Review Organization (IPRO) was set to expire on March 31, 2022, but due to the ongoing procurement process for a new contract, IDPH is requesting a 3-month extension from April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 at a cost of $55,014. The scope of services includes data management, quality analytics, software upgrades, data reporting, and user management for the website, which is critical to fulfilling mandates of the Illinois Hospital Report Card Act and the Illinois Health Finance Reform Act. This extension is necessary to ensure the continued operation of the website and IDPH's ability to meet its statutory obligations until a new contract can be awarded through the competitive procurement process.

The contract extension will be funded through state appropriated funds, and IPRO was the incumbent vendor for the original emergency contract. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond mentioned in the materials provided. The current contract value for the original emergency term was $110,028, and the extension request is for an additional $55,014, bringing the total potential value to $165,042. A public hearing will be held on March 23, 2022 via Webex to provide additional information on this emergency contract extension.
