About this file
This document is an Emergency Purchase Extension for a contract between the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Island Peer Review Organization (IPRO) for data transfer and management, quality analytics, software upgrades, and reporting services related to the Illinois Hospital Report Card and Consumer Guide. The original emergency term was from September 29, 2021 to March 31, 2022 for $110,028. IDPH is requesting a 3-month extension from April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 for an additional $55,014, as the current ongoing procurement to award a new contract will not be completed by the end of the last extension.
The scope of the original emergency and extension includes consolidated data standardization, technical and quality analytics, software upgrades, data backup, and reporting requirements such as nursing hours, infection rates, and outcome measures for hospitals, long-term acute care, and ambulatory surgical centers. The extension is being funded through state appropriated funds, and the justification is that the extension is necessary to maintain critical public health reporting while a new contract is being competitively procured.
