About this opportunity
The Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) is seeking proposals for a reliable Electronic Health Record (EHR) System to manage all Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Project Ninos child records. ECI currently serves an average of 1,566 children in 11 counties. The required EHR System must be cloud-based, accessible via web and mobile, and include a robust billing component for processing claims with public and private insurers. CACOST is seeking proposals from vendors with experience in the EHR industry, and proposals must include company background, references, system functionality, security, implementation, training, and support details. Proposals are due by 5:00 pm on October 4, 2024, and CACOST anticipates awarding a contract on or around November 1, 2024. The contract term is for one year, beginning November 15, 2024, with mutually agreeable extensions up to a four-year term. CACOST will evaluate proposals based on vendor qualifications, functionality, cost, and support, with a maximum of 100 points.
CACOST encourages participation from small and historically underutilized businesses and will provide consideration accordingly. The project is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Education, and CACOST reserves the right to negotiate contract terms with the selected vendor. The agency has not provided any information about incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure, and the available budget range has not been disclosed.
