About this opportunity
The State of Idaho's Division of Purchasing, specifically through the Office of Information Technology Services (ITS), is seeking bids for network connection goods relating to Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto equipment statewide. The procurement opportunity, identified as State Local Contract Opportunity ID 669f9ba225fe9d0f100a7002, is focused on Blaine County and involves a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Phone Provisioning Management Software (PPMS). The software must automate deployment of Cisco, Webex, and Teams services, with the capability to configure and deploy large volumes of voice solutions sustainably. The contract term is three years with an option for four additional one-year renewals, and bidders must provide unit costs for subscription licenses and optional services through the State's e-Procurement System (IPRO). The due date for submissions is July 25, 2024, with the opportunity initially posted on July 22, 2024. Bidders are required to electronically submit quotes that demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive provisioning management solutions with services and support for Akkadian or equivalent licensing.
The contract documentation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. While the RFQ does not mention disadvantaged enterprise provisions, it appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting technical specifications. The procurement does not indicate a predetermined budget range or award value, instead noting that ITS will order on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities. The solicitation includes optional services such as Akkadian Hub Subscription and Remote Deployment Services, suggesting flexibility in vendor offerings. Potential bidders will need to carefully review the technical requirements, particularly the ability to integrate with existing Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto network infrastructure. The procurement appears designed to establish a flexible, multi-year contract for technology services that can adapt to the state's evolving network and communication needs.
Opportunity text
The Idaho Transportation Department has requested an exemption from competition for the purchase of Bulk Fuel. If approved, an exemption from competition may allow the agency to procure the property with limited or no competitive process. Exemption from competition is at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator's decision. Suppliers are invited to provide information that may help the DOP Administrator make a decision regarding this requested exemption from competition. Please review the Agency's request, attached in the Buyer Attachment section of IPRO. You are invited to provide information that may help support or contradict the claim that competition would be impractical, unreasonable, or disadvantageous to the State under the circumstances. Submit your information by attaching it in the Supplier Attachments section of IPRO and submitting your response or emailing purchasing@adm.idaho.gov. To be considered by the Administrator, all information must be submitted prior to the closing date and time listed in IPRO.
